Dear Donna and Jimmy, We would have liked to be there with you tonight, but were unable to make the trip to Gananoque today. Be assured however that our thoughts are with you tonight. We loved your mother very much and she leaves an empty spot in our lives. We wish you all the best and hope to visit you in the summer. There was only one `Rose` and we will never forget her. Love, Hans and Mance

We were very sorry to hear that Aunt Rose had passed away and extend sincere condolences to Donna, Jim and families. My visits with Aunt Rose were all too rare; but were always fun and memorable. The last took place in 1988 while on airport layover in Toronto. At that time, my husband Arnold got to meet her too. Rose was just at her best that day, we had a great time and that memory of her will always remain. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Joan and Arnold Creston, B. C.

Dear Donna, Jim, Shawna and your entire family.
We share your sadness in the loss of your dear mother and grandmother - Rosie.
There are some people that you meet that are very special, that instantly become part of your life. We honestly believe that there are only a few people who walk into our lives and change them forever. Rosie was one of those special persons. We loved her company. We became friends immediately when we moved to Lorne Park Road in Mississauga, Ontario. Rosie was a great friend and neighbour. She was the kind of friend that stood by you when you need somebody to be there. She was my supporter in my time of need and my wisest counselor. She always cheered me up when she knew I was just having a bad day. She always wanted to make people happy - especially playing her harmonica. What will we most remember when we think of Rosie is her great sense of humour. She never missed an opportunity to have fun. Rosie was well loved by many members of my family - my sons - Yuryj and Danylo, my mother - Katherine and by my sister - Marta and her children from British Columbia.
Rosie lived an amazing life. She accomplished many things on earth and we're sure she'll do much more in heaven. We will truly miss her and will be forever grateful to have known "Auntie Rose". She was an amazing friend. All the joys and sorrow we shared with her will forever be cherished and remembered. She will forever live in our hearts. She was always there for her friends and family. She loved her children and family immensely.
We are sure that she will be eternally happy. We will miss you our dear friend! You were important to us all. We will never forget the great and happy times we had together - sometimes mischievous, but nonetheless always joyful. We experienced so much together - good and bad, happy and sad. You were our comfort and support. We will miss everything about you Auntie Rose. May your experience in heaven be as wonderful as it was on earth. Rest in peace. With love, Ulana and Katherine Zurakowski with children Yuryj and Danylo. Marta Kuzma with children: Dr. Tamara Kuzma, Mateyko, Orest and Laryssa.

Gord and I have many fond memories of Aunt Rose. She was a special woman with a vibrant personality and a big heart. She did everything with zest - dancing on the tables at our wedding, surprising us by flying up from Toronto with carpet samples for our new home, being a wonderful hostess when we visited and above all being warm and loving. She always made us feel so special when we visited and we always had a lot of fun! Donna, Jim, Pat and families, Gord and I extend our deepest sympathy to all of you. May God surround you with His love and give you peace. May the memories you share bring comfort to your hearts. Our love, Cheryl, Gord and family.

Dear Donna, Jimmy and Family Although Karen and I are far away in California our thoughts are with you and our extended family as we remember my wonderful Aunt Rose. Donna and Jim, I know that no words can assist you through this time, but you both have a lifetime of wonderful memories of Rose. She was certainly a one-of-a-kind person, that's for sure! I remember many fun and humourous times shared in the bosom of your family, and I cherish them dearly. Our children (Rose's grandchildren, Kelsey, Dillon, Trevor and Matthew), were fortunate to be able to share in Rose's life for so many years. So long as we have our memories, Rose will never be far from our hearts. My sympathies and love to you both. Rose is probably having a glass of wine right now, and watching down on us from heaven! Love, Debbie
