My condolences to cousins Judy, Mark, Faye, Andy, to late cousin Jane's husband, Gord, and to all those others who held Joe dear in their hearts. I believe it to be true that the people,the places, and the things we experience in our lives are the sum total of who we are at the present moment. Uncle Joe had an uncanny way of lighting up a space with his cheery disposition, and it is this that I will always be thankful to him for, especially when I find myself trying to do the same thing, and happily succeeding. My condolences to the McDonald family. I have fond memories of Joe who was a gifted tradesman and horseman but even more so as an honest, humble and kind human being. I can still picture Joe at the head of a horse, maybe Marandy on a snowy winter day, in the winner's circle and giggling with pride. Many a visit to the stable and I can never recall coming away without a smile. Joe's good nature would rub off on people around him. The mark of a man is how he shapes others. That was truly Joe's gift. My thoughts are with you as you celebrate his life. Doug Graham

Mark and Family Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. We remember him well from Kingston Park Raceway, Frontenac Downs, Quinte Raceway - he was definitely a true supporter of harness racing either owning horses or supporting other horsemen in the sport. We know he was so proud of you when you were involved with racing.
