I would like to send out my condolences to all those affected by Ann's passing. I have many fond memories of Ann from when I was a teenager from spending summers in Kingston by her pool, to living together in Calgary when she moved out west for a few years to live with our family. Ann was an amazingly strong woman and I will miss our conversations.

Dear Susan, It has been years since we have spoken...On hearing of your mum's death, many memories arose - of how kind and generous and loving she was - and you were - having Bill, Jake, Ted and I live with you when the house she had help us find was not ready. I'd love to hear from you to catch up, if you wish to connect. Heartfelt condolences to you (and your family), Diana

It was with mixed feelings that I learned of Ann's death. At last she is released from that early body and once again is a free spirit.I used to see her when I made my rare visits to Rideaucrest. At first she knew me and we would recount tales of earlier years. I can still hear her laughter. My condolences to all she leaves behind particularly Robin and Di, and Jack and Susan.I like to think of Ann now flying with those Eagles ! Affectionately, Carol Forde

Dearest Susie, Nonie and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Although, Ann is gone in body, her spirit lives on in all of us that had the privilege of knowing her. I spent more time at the Carmichael residence during my teenage years than in my own. She always made us feel welcome and at home. She was kind and generous to my children who will always remember her fondly as their "Granny Annie". This is a difficult time that I remember too well, so embrace family members, laugh at the good times, cry when needed and find solace in knowing she was loved. Much love, Vicky

I have a vivid memory of Auntie Ann from when I was around 5 years old, and my family and I visited her home in Kingston. She kindly spoiled my sister and I with dresses and home-baked cookies. I remember the smile on her face when she presented us with the tray. I'll remember her fondly, and I wish we could have met and spoken as adults. I understand she was a fantastic woman who moved mountains in her life. My condolences. Stay healthy and strong through this difficult time. Love, Amy
