I was so sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Jean was my Godmother, and I feel so honoured and priviledged to have had her in my life. Although we were not able to see each other often in these past years, every visit was a treasure, and I admired her so much for her great sense of humour, her passion for life, and her gracious and loving spirit. You will be greatly missed Jean!

We were very saddened to learn of Jean’s passing. She was a great family friend from Rosemere, Quebec. Our parents, Ann Marie and Bob were very close with Jean and John for many years. They shared good times and bad times including many parties, and many tears. They helped each other to endure common losses - their son Andy and our brother John - in similar tragic ways in similar timeframes. I will remember Jean most for her wet kisses. It seems such a strange memory but as a young child watching parents party I remember Jean the most for her unique ability to plant one on me. Jean became a surrogate mother for my sister Louise. She was so proud to have travelled to Jean’s 90th birthday party which was a great challenge for her at the time. Our current circumstance does not permit us to travel to the service. Moreover, doctors have advised that we not share the news of Jean’s passing with Louise at this time – or perhaps ever. In this sense Jean lives on for our family. Her memory is strong and her spirit is with us. She is and will always be part of our family. Our thoughts and prayers are with her other family including Gary and Ray. Keep the faith. Jules and Louise and the Fauteux family

To Gary & Ray and all of Jean's clan, I send comforting thoughts. I had an opportunity to see this lovely lady on numerous occasions while visiting Gary & Ray's home. Her passing will, no doubt, bring much sadness to the lovely group of friends who have socialized for over 25 years. It was fortunate that you had a grand birthday party for her to enjoy last fall. Your commitment to friendship makes me realize that it's so important to cherish our friends in the moment and act on kind gestures, rather than putting them off for a distant, unspecified time.

My deepest sympathies in the loss of your beloved Mrs. Jean. May it help you to know that the hearts of others are deeply touched by your loss. Even though our hearts ache, we can find comfort in the God of all comfort whose is near to us with a broken heart. ( Psalms 34:18)
