Tompkins: David A (Lead Singer of the Coachmen) Peacefully surrounded by family at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday June 13, 2010 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Suzanne Herrington-Logan. Loving father of Ashley Prado (Chris), Jay, Jean, Frank, Patrick, Sean, Stephen, Christine and Samantha. Grandfather of Wyatt, Quinn, Blake and Brody. Brother of Carole Houle. Uncle of David (Shannon), Paul (Angie). Brother in law of Donna Tompkins and George, David, Richard and Thomas Herrington. Survived by 1 Aunt Mary Tompkins. Predeceased by his parents Art and Mildred Tompkins, and by 1 brother Frank Tompkins. Friends will be received at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church on Friday June 18 at 11:00 am. Rite of committal St. John's Cemetery. Donations made to the St. Johns Restoration Fund or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
