Obituary of Elizabeth Tackaberry

Tackaberry: Elizabeth Betty (Tootsie) June 29, 1934 - June 9, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Tackaberry peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday June 9, 2010. Beloved soulmate of husband Malcolm Tackaberry. Dearly loved mother of Frances (Mike Spies) and Paul Angie Babcock). She will be deeply missed by her 2 grandsons David and Adam, whom she loved beyond compare. Tootsie was a caring sister to her siblings Joan Hetherington, Jean Jarvis and the late Norm Menczel. She will be remembered by her brother and sister in laws Ross Hetherington, Ross Jarvis, Donna Menczel, Ben Tackaberry, Edith Tackaberry, Judith Holsgrove and many nieces and nephews. Tootsie was predeceased by her parents Irma and Frank Menczel. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A private family service will be held. A "Celebration of her Life" Open House for all to attend will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy donations made to Martha's Table, Covenant House or the Boys and Girls Club would be appreciated by the family.
