Sylvia Jean (Ladouceur) Peacefully, on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 one day after her 72nd birthday, at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital, Kingston after a courageous battle with cancer. Sylvia Jean Ladouceur, beloved mother and best friend of Janet Miller and her husband David MacKinnon of Oshawa. Predeceased by her mother Lillian, brother Donald and her grandparents Anne and J.J. (Jack) Ladouceur. Fondly remembered by many cousins and friends as well as her aunt Marion Reay of Cobourg. In keeping with Sylvia's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial service will be held in our chapel on Saturday April 25th at 11:00 am. At Sylvia's request, donations may be made to the Gananoque Humane Society or the Gananoque Food Bank.
