Dear Janet and Dave We have been in touch during Sylvia's battle with this horrible disease.. She is now at peace. Your Mom was a good friend. Chris and I enjoyed her humor and great mind. Dear Janet, It was with sorrow that I read of your mom's passing. Living out here in Seeley's Bay, I hadn't heard of her illness and am so very sorry that she had to endure the terrible trials associated with cancer. Sylvia was like a second mother to me and a true friend. I will always cherish our conversations over tea and cookies and the trips that she, Janet and I took to New York City and the Cape. Sylvia had a great sense of humour and fought the battle against cancer with grace and dignity. She is well loved and will be greatly missed.
