Obituary of Edward Deans

Deans: Edward (Retired Director of Athletics at Queens University for 34 years) Passed away peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, Ontario on Wednesday January 13, 2010 at the age of 80. Ed Deans, beloved husband of the late Alice O'Hearn. Loving father of Cindy Matthews, Darlene Deans and Marsha Kaiser (Kirk). Predeceased by 1 daughter. Cherished grandfather of Edward, Cole, Ryan, Tim and Andrew. Dear brother of Johnny and Eunice Keddy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated the St. John the Evangelist Church on Monday January 18 at 3 pm. Rite of Committal at St. John's Cemetery following the Mass. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the U.H.K.F. (Cancer Centre), Alzheimer's Society or to St. John's Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family.
