Dowd: Walter Clinton Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday August 30, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Irene Leakey. Loving father of Ed (Janice), Stephen (Shawna) and Stuart. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Christopher, Aaron, Nicholas and Mitchell. Great grandfather of Koen. Predeceased by 1 sister Anita Gaudreau. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Thursday September 3 from 12:00 until time of service in our chapel at 2:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Willowbank Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
