My husband and I had the pleasure of getting to know you dad a bit at Christ Church. He was a true gentleman and a most willing helper with anything he could do. A fine man. Ed, Stu, Steve, and Families. So very sorry to hear of your Dad's death. He was always a good man to us neighbourhood kids as well as a good husband and father. I'll always remember him walking up the lane towards your home, from the Reporter, for lunch and dinner. A quiet, respectful, and talented man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. John Dennis

Dear Eddie, Sorry to hear of your loss. We have fond memories of your Mom and Dad from the days of Chi Rho at Christ Church to my time at The Reporter (1953-1961). Your Dad was a most hard working foreman, who got the paper out on time. I assume he was not well in his final days. May he rest in peace. Bill Fitsell.

My condolences on the sad loss of your dear father. He wanted to be reunited with his beloved Irene and it must be a comfort to know they are together. When I would visit him in the Lodge, he always liked to talk about the boys who served in the RCAF. He felt the loss of those who didn't return and I'm sure they will get together often for a good chinwag. Eternity is forever and we'll meet again. Geraldine Chase
