Dean: Neil Gerard (WWII Veteran) Suddenly at home on Monday May 7, 2012 at the age of 88. Much loved father of Dianna Millichamp (Ernie), Gloria Dean, Sheilagh Fertile (Dan), Nancy Dean (Dennis) and Danny Dean (Janice). Cherished grandfather of Fred, Marie, Bonnie, Tara, Frank, Melody, Tania, Don Jr., Kenneth, Colin, Sean, Jennifer, James, Eric, Shannon, Meghan, Broghan and Carson. Great grandfather of Aujha, Ryan, Christopher, Sarah, Crystal, Kayla, Tyler, Brittany, Nathan, Lakyn, Noah, Fallyn, Kyra, Taren, Catlyn, Caleb, Tyson, Meaghan, Kaileigh, Ethan and Baby Fertile. Great great grandfather of Kaiden. Dear brother of Lena. Predeceased by 3 brothers Leonard, Lawrence and Michael by 1 sister Ellen, by his parents Ignatius and Angelina Dean, by 1 grandson John, by 1 granddaughter Paige and by 2 sons-in-law Albert and Ivor. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Marcelle, James, Darlene, Karen and Claire. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 pm until service in our chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ontario. Donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
