Dearest Grumpy,
We miss you dearly and wish we had more time with you! You always had a good story for us and a little joke. Trying to share your wisdom with us too was appreciated. We miss you and pray for you, the children light a candle for you at Mass.

In a week it will be a year since your passing. Not a day goes by where I do not think of you or a memory I have of you. Today while doing my morning tasks I started thinking of a few Irish poems you use to say and had to look them up. Now I am going to say them too you. I miss you Grumpy! Xoxox I danced in the morning when the world was begun, And I danced in the moon and the stars and the sun, And I came down from heaven and I danced on the earth, At Bethlehem I had my birth. (Refrain:) Dance then, wherever you may be, I am the Lord of the Dance said he, And I'll lead you all wherever you may be, And I'll lead you all in the Dance said he. I danced on a Friday when the sky turned black. It's hard to dance with the devil on your back. They buried my body and they thought I'd gone, But I am the dance and I still go on. (Refrain:) They cut me down and I leap up high. I am the life that'll never die. I'll live in you if you'll live in me. I am the Lord of the Dance, May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face. May the rains fall upon your fields. And until we meet again, MAy God hold you in the hollow of His hand. And this one I saw while looking for those and thought it was suiting. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal Xoxox

Grumpy, When we saw each other last there were a few things you kept saying to me. You told me to never be afraid to show my love because love is a beautiful thing and you did not want me to hide it. You and I were also planning a trip to Ireland together and we both talked about it a lot but you told me last time that you did not think you were going to make it their physically with me because your time to ( pointed upstairs and kissed your fingers) was coming. I shrugged it off and told you not to talk like that and that you were not allowed too leave me yet. You gave a chuckle and gave me a big hug and grabbed my face like you always did and kissed my two cheeks " because you know dear a bird can not fly on one wing " I told you I loved you and you said I know dear I know that not because you said it but because you show me all of the time. You then said you love me too which you didn't say much but you never had too. You were going to record me your story so I had it and your voice whenever I wanted to hear a story. I loved listening to you talk even when you were just rambling. I still have the stick of gum and charm you have me when you insisted on bringing me to the airport with mom, dad, and Tyler. You were so upset and trying to stay strong and told me that when I was ready to come home you were a phone call away. You gave me your book full of Latin phrases to study and everything you would quiz me and I would fail and you would just keep repeating it to me. So many good memories I cherish from when I was a little girl to last week. I love you so much Grumpy, but you know that. Xoxox

Grumpy; You were everything. There wasn't a day that I didn't think about you. I loved you termendously( and always will). It's very difficult to think about life without you in it. Even though you are looking down on us and will always be there, it's still very hard. What hurts the most is Ethan won't get to know and love you as much as I do, I will tell him everything about you and show him lots of pictures. Love you always and forever Grumpy. Love your grand-daughter: Meaghan xoxoxo xoxoxo

Dearest uncle Neil. I will never thank you enough for being there at my wedding back in 1997. Mom had passed away already and your presence meant the world to me. What a brave man you always were to me. Telling my friends and I stories when you came to visit you «kid sister Ellen», your laugh, your humor will be in my heart and soul forever. To all your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and your little great great grandchild, my sincere condolences. Hope Mom gave you a great big hug up there... With all my love, your Godchild, Lucie Archambault
