Obituary of Bruce Mills

Mills: Bruce Benjamin WW 2 Veteran, Lincoln & Welland Regiment Retired from Wrigley's, Corps of Commissionaires Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday June 26, 2009 in his 91st year with his wife daughter and sister by his side. Cherished husband of 70 years of Josephine (Paris). Beloved father of Douglas Bruce (Bonnie) Seymour Arm, B.C., Thomas Barry (Maureen) Calgary AB, Jeannette Louise Burr (Keith Shannon) Oshawa, Ont. Dear brother of Constance Painter (Charles) Gananoque, Ont. Sadly missed by 21 grand / Step grandchildren, 22 great grand / Step grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Margaret (Tomkins) and William Mills, Sister Norma Landry, brothers Donald (Peggy), Colin and John (Emily), grandson Christopher Burr. Bruce cared for and enjoyed his family, his dogs, cards, his gardens and golf. Resting at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque. A graveside service will be held at the Gananoque Cemetery on Saturday July 11, 2009 at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
