Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Thursday November 3, 2016 at the age of 87. Val Mody, beloved husband of 62 years to Jean Mody (Nee Lowe). Much loved father of Chris Mody (Cathy) and David Mody (Francine). Cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Sarah, Lisa and Emily. Dear brother in law of Stuart Lowe (Eleanor). Will be sadly missed by his 2 nieces Penny and Heather and by 1 nephew Ian. A Memorial will be held in Christ Anglican Church on Tuesday November 8 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow at the Gananoque Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the UHKF (Providence Care) or to Muscular Dystrophy (SMA) would be appreciated by the family.
