Elsie, Lennie, Johnny, Billy & Debbie I too have fond memories as a child playing tag around the Clark home, and occasionally managing to sneak a peek at Doug practicing & jamm'n in the living room. A delight thru a youngsters eyes! What a cool life! In this sad time of loss, you can reflect on the incredible memories and the wonderful family your dad and husband was able to give you all. Know, I am thinking of you in this difficult time. Love & prayers Lori & family, Ottawa, ON

To Elsie, Immediate Family, Extended Family, Friends & Neighbours, we were saddened to hear of Doug’s recent passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. As a young boy growing up on Maple Grove Road, I have such fond memories of the Clark homestead and doing what “BOYS” do best…stirring up a little trouble now and then and adding a few grey hairs for Doug & Elsie (sorry about that). No matter what we did, there was always a kind smile and a cool drink waiting inside…then off we would go again…adding Banana Seats and Monkey Handle Bars to our many many pieced together bicycles. Thank You for being a such terrific friend & neighbour to mom (Helen Russell)...gosh, it must be close to 50 years you have known each other and hundreds of times you were there to lend a kind helping hand in time of need. May God Bless you all in your time of sorrow. Sincerely, Scott Russell

We would like to recognize our family for staying strong during this very difficult time. I believe it can be agreed that there is no question Doug is now in a much better place. I am certain where Doug is going is a place where pain does not exist and the flow of Blue Grass music is never ending! We would also like to take this time to thank Doug and Elsie for bringing to this earth 4 wonderful children; one of which being our Dad Len...he has been the dad he didn't have to be and we love him for it! God Bless and See You All Soon! Doug- I'm sure we'll be seeing you too. In the meantime have a blast and try to keep our nana out of trouble!
