I was saddened to hear of Marcie's passing. She was a kind lady. She was a great source of stories and information about her family history, and I was so pleased to be able to pass on what I had learned with her. I met Marcie while on the hunt for the family bible, that I had been told was in her possession. When I called to ask her about it, she replied that it had fallen into disrepair and she had disposed of it. I was so disappointed, but she went on to tell me that she had saved the marriage/birth/death pages, which was exactly what I was looking for. She very kindly passed on copies to me, and gave me a great start on the family tree. I've just learned today (29/09) of her passing, and I regret I wasn't able to share in honouring her memory. I am so very sorry for your loss, you have my deepest condolences.

Condolences to Marcie's family. I've known Marcie for years and years, going back to the 1960's when Paula and I were close in high school. We visited and stayed with Marcie in Kingston (Russell Street I think) a couple of times and had a ball. All those years ago. An outstanding and generous lady with a big heart. Rest in peace Marcie.
