Obituary of Derrick Turner

Turner: Derrick Albert After a long battle with cancer, we announce the passing of Derrick Albert Turner at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Norma Turner (nee Hills) for 51 years. Predeceased by his parents May and Albert Turner of England. Survived by his sister Jean (John) from England, sons Paul (Lacricia), Simon (Alison) and John (Lydia). Proud papa to his grandchildren Brittany, Jacob, Lexi, Olivia, Zachary, Brianna and Kaleigh. As to Derricks wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Saturday July 11 from 1:00 until time of his Celebration of Life in our Chapel at 2:30. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at both the Eastern Ontario Cancer Clinic and Kingston General Hospital. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Gananoque Wheels of Care would be appreciated by Derrick and his family.
