Obituary of John Morton

Morton: John Robert WW2 Navy Veteran Past President Legion Br# 92 Myrtle Beach Member Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on April 8, 2008 at the age of 82. Jack Morton, beloved husband of the late Audrey O'Hearn. Dear father of Lynda (Scott), Robert (Barb), Peggy, Michael (Lorraine), Barb, Jack (Sue), Don, Kim and adopted daughters Bunny and Mary. Much loved grampy and great grampy. Also remembered by sisters Irene (Don) Dutton, Pat (Clare) Seager, and by brother Tom (Diane) Morton and brother in law Ivan Aucoin. Predeceased by his parents John and Helen Morton, sisters Janet and Maryanne, and by brother in law Bill Griese. Also remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday April 18 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Legion Br#92 following visitation at 2:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or to the Fragile X Syndrome Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
