Veteran of the 14th Field Regiment WWII
Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday February 16, 2008. Bill Chitty beloved husband of Margaret Gordon. Loving father of Karen Wand (Sam) , Philip and his wife Joanne, Robert and his wife Louise and Heather Chitty and her partner Greg. Dear Grandfather of Philip (Lisa) , Christopher (Blythe) and Harrison. Dearest Great Grandfather to Cohen. Survived by 2 sisters Nancy Hallam and her husband Don and Daphne Hother. Predeceased by 2 brothers David and Donald and 3 sisters Peggy, Pamela and Barbara. Also predeceased by son in law Rick Wand. Bill is also survived by several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Thursday February 21 at 11am. Inurnment will be held in Willowbank cemetery at a later date.
