So difficult to have lost such a lovely person so quickly. I am truly feeling for Lorraine, Leslie and Anne, and the whole extended family and hoping the many great memories that they hold of this super caring, super proud mother, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law can carry them through the weeks, months and years.
I have known Pat most of my life. At times of difficulty in my youth she was always a soft place to land. Pat was all about family. She was dedicated and available to her kids and grandkids. Her daughters were my friends and, in time, Lorraine became my family and carried that same dedication to family to my brother and their children. Pat remained a friend throughout my life as we attended the same celebrations and welcomed new members to our now joined families. She always had time for a visit, a conversation, a debate...and she never missed an opportunity to offer a compliment. She and my mother became friends as well and Pat was there to offer assistance and support when my mother passed away. She was simply one of those rare people that you could always depend on to have an open door, a kind word, and a meal to share (for me - there is no beating to her hamburger soup, banana cream pie and pumpkin pie!).
Thoughts and love to the family and friends and a big thank you to Pat for bringing so many great people and memories to my life. How fortunate I have been to know you:)

As you know, we - John and I - adored your mum, her sense of humour, the gentle twinkle in her eye, her huge capacity for love and the support she always had for her girls, my Paddle cousins.
I'm - we're - sending love to all of you.

I met Pat through Robert, when they were working on the family tree. We realized we were fourth cousins through family connections. Her Grandmother was my Grandfather's sister.
Pat and I became fast friends, who enjoyed tea and lots of chat. We had a lot of common ideas of the things going on in our Country and the World. Pat was very knowledgeable in a great array of topics. A favourite place was on her patio, with her many waterfalls gently flowing in the background, it was very peaceful. We enjoyed a time of going to luncheons with the lunch bunch, a wonderful group of ladies, some cousins, some friends. And, one of the most rewarding days of our week was on Tuesday, volunteering for tea and talk at Providence Care. The residents so enjoy their time there as well, and also enjoyed talking to Pat as she dished out the delicious treat of the day.
Pat talked a lot about her wonderful three Daughters, and how proud she was of each one, and her Grandchildren, who she dearly loved.
Pat was a lovely, caring, and special person, who I feel very honoured to have called my friend.

I always cherished how much effort she put in to make us grandkids happy and she definitely made mine and my siblings/cousins childhoods. You’ll be dearly missed. Thanks for all the great memories. Love you.

I was shocked at Pat’s passing; we didn't get to see each other very often after Pat’s move to Kingston. A kind, gentle lady; I am proud to have been her friend. My condolences to her family that meant everything to her.

Patricia was my cousin, but I did not have regular contact with her. My memory is being at her farm when my grandmother died. I have also had the great luck to get to know her more in the last 10 or so years. She was a beautiful lady. Her presence will be missed. Love to her family.

I would like to offer my condolences to the family of Pat. I have been her neighbor for I think about 18 years. Could not have found a better one anywhere. We became true friends over the years, solving many a world problem between us. She will be missed immensely, including her world class pies.
