We wish to send our deepest sympathies to all of Bob’s family and friends on his passing.
We met Bob during the Pandemic via Zoom! He agreed to help design/engineer our Lake front home. He told us we were his last clients before he retired.
Although Todd and Bob were in the same year at Waterloo in Engineering, they were in different streams and really never met. It wasn’t until a mutual friend, Ken Rudisuela, mentioned to us that Bob could help us out with our design and drawings. We had many interesting Zoom calls and he was always accommodating and professional when listening to our ideas. We couldn’t believe how efficient he was in getting back to us with changes and suggestions. Unfortunately, the build post Pandemic was challenging and we so regret not having been able to finish the project before he could have joined us on our deck for a drink and a look around at what he helped us create!!
We will hang a stamped copy of your drawings in our new home in memory of you Bob.
Rest in peace.
Carol and Todd Columbus.

So sorry Bob, from all of us Karen, Ian, Nicole and myself, that your pathway to recovery ended so suddenly. Love and condolences to Deb, Brennan, Katie, their families and Bobs family. You were a fine man and a good friend and I appreciated our lunch and afternoon beer opportunities, and the support that you've given me on my own journey. There will always be a toast to you from the 19th hole at Colonnade!
You were truly a professional in everyway and it was fun working on projects you had designed as I never worried about measurements adding up correctly and you were always available if questions had to be answered. RIP good friend!

It was with profound sadness we learned of Bob's passing after his valiant fight. We are grateful for the time we spent with Bob and Deb over many dinners, New Year's Eve celebrations, boating trips, etc. Bob was always thoughtful, intelligent and humorous in all of our interactions. Our condolences to his entire family as they deal with this immense loss.

Bob was a racer, he raced fast cars both full-size and 1/10 Remote Control kind and good at both. Racing consists of both good and bad times and Bob was all smiles when all the settings came together and he was quick on the track. You could tell he was having a rough day from time to time but they were seldom.
He was an intelligent man and came up with solutions and projects to help the remote control community. His most popular was RC Crew Chief, a piece of software that helps drivers with car setup. He made several items that he donated and sold at the track and online. They all work wonderful and he put a lot of thought and effort into everything he did.
Bob was always there and would answer anyones questions even if he didn't particular enjoy being around the person. For that, he was extremely generous with his time and support of the Kingston RC Raceway.
I have missed Bob during his absence but was able to chat from time to time via text message. I miss him more now and send my condolences to the family. He was a great guy in my books.
