Boughton: Edward "Ted"

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Edward "Ted" Boughton announces his passing on January 25th, 2023 in Brockville, Ontario. Ted was 74 years old and had been bravely fighting cancer for a well over a decade. He is survived by his three sons, Ryan (Gillian), Drew (Erin), and Tyler, and two grandchildren, Owen and Lauren.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Dawn Kathleen ‘Kathy’, his parents Marjorie and Edward Charles and his sisters Susan and Phyllis.

Ted was a man of many passions and hobbies. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed boating and fishing. He was also a skilled handyman and took great pride in building his own log cabin. He was a smart and curious person, an avid reader, and an outdoors man. He loved tinkering and repairing tools and items around the house. Never one to shy from the seemingly impossible task.

It comes with great shock to us all, as with any sudden passing as Ted was looking forward to the upcoming marriage of his son Ryan and his fiancée Gillian, which was set to take place on his own birthday, May 13th. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his sister Barbra and her husband Dennis, cousin Andy and Sue, Brenda and of course our dearest family friends the Jurkewycz family.

Ted's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, dear Ted.
