Passed away at FoxRun Retirement Home after a brief illness on Wednesday December 14, 2022 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of the late Joanne Bedard. Much loved father of Matthew Harper and Steven Harper (Emily). Step father of Lisa Meaney (John). Loving brother of Tim Harper (Orian), Susan Harper and Kim Harper (Michel). Cherished grandfather of Finley and Sophia. Gary will be sorely missed by his dear friend Dorothy Garrah, who has been his “Rock and Support” throughout his illness. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Monday December 19 at 11:00 am. With a Celebration of his life following at 1:00 pm at the Glen House Resort. In lieu of flowers donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
