I had the pleasure of looking after Dorothy during my time at Bayhsore (while she resided in Fox Run) She was always pleasant, and very appreciative of the help she received. Dorothy was a very lovely women, and one of my favorite residents. Sorry for your loss.

Grandma Garrah and our dear GG to my children, my moms mom, passed away peacefully in her sleep yesterday. She was the most kind and generous soul.
Smiling till the end including chatting to her yesterday, she cracked a visible smile while we were chatting and she was resting.
She was simply the most amazing woman, mother of 5, grandma and great grandma our GG. It's hard to comprehend what she saw in the world over her lifetime of 96 years. Really good effort towards her 97th birthday in December.
She loved to shop for her and us. She was always dressed beautifully and got us beautiful parcels for every special occasion. She listened, she supported us and loved us all unconditionally.
She shared many gifts beyond her big heart like putting an apple in a turkey to make it extra delicious back when I was in college... lots of little things that shape who I am today. We were so fortunate to have such actively supportive grandparents to help us through all the good times and bad. We had many adventures on the river, shared meals across her table, plays in the garden, concerts in her living room, card games, playing bar in the basement at RR3 with those retro lamps and glass stir sticks. So so so many amazing memories. I'm so grateful to have had her in my life and for so long.
Truly one of a kind. Her smiles lit up any room.
Peace at last grandma, rest in peace with grandpa now.... but we will miss you so much.
Treasured memories forever.

Legacy of Love (author unknown)
A wife, a mother, a grandma too, (+ great grandma)
This is the legacy we have from you
You taught us love and how to fight
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best
And now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts we’ll eternally keep.
