Wallis: Beverley Hannah “Bev”

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley Hannah Wallis on Thursday June 30th at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre.  Bev had just turned 77.   Much loved wife of 55 years to Donald Wallis.  Loving mother of Scott and Justina, Greg and Christa and Trevor and Tracy.  Wonderful and crazy Grandma/Gramma to Natasha, Abby, Katelyn, and Peter, Kody, Karly and Kaleb her bonus grandchildren and all their friends that were welcomed many times at the cottage.  Lovingly remembered by her best friend Sharon.  Bev loved her family and was a dedicated friend.   Bev touched the lives of so many patients, classmates and colleagues alike during her 35  year career in nursing.  Predeceased by her parents Mary and Harold Colbert, and her aunt Vera (Ea) Preston.  The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Wednesday July 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.  A celebration of Bev’s life will be held at her favorite place- the Cottage- on Sunday August 14th from 1-4 pm.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences please go to www.tompkinsfuneralhome.ca
