Bev was a beautiful soul, always caring for others and making a difference in the lives of everyone she met. I never saw her without a smile and we shared such laughs every time we were together. It was a privilege and a blessing to know her and she will be missed by so many. Giving thanks for a life well lived, and sending my deepest sympathy. Pat Greenhorn

Don, Scott, Greg and Trevor I was so very sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. How can I ever forget all those years shared at the Canoe Club, so many trips, regattas, loading boats and building the Club house. Great times and memories I shall cherish them and think of you often. Emily Bell

Bev was a very special light in our nursing class; we will miss her infectious smile and her enthusiasm as is obvious from this photo, taken at our 50th reunion in 2017.

Don and family: It was with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of your beloved Bev. It is never easy to say goodbye especially when it is a much loved and respected family member. Even in the difficult times Bev always had a smile. Find some comfort in knowing that although her physical being has been taken, death cannot erase the memories of all the good times that you all shared. Our prayers are with you.

Saddened to hear of Bev's passing. As a classmate of Bev's from the '60s, I saw, enjoyed and benefitted from her love and exuberance for life all throughout our "training" years and at our reunions every 5 years. Sending my condolences to all in Bev's family. Am confident you have many many memories of her life and love.

Remembering Bev from our student nursing days, her smile and laughter, her compassionate care of her patients and her ready willingness to help those she was working with.
Also remembering the fun we had with our babies and toddlers when we met by chance and discovered we were both living in Gananoque!
Sincere condolences to all her family.

Dear Don, Scott, Greg, Trevor and families
Chris and I were so shocked to learn of Bev's passing. We remember so well all the years spent as Beaver Leaders when our boys and yours were so young (5-8 yrs as I recall). Many happy chats at the grocery store or anywhere else in town when we'd meet. She always loved her boys and family. I'm sure all the patients she had helped over her long nursing career received the very best attention from a person with a heart as big as Bev's.
Sincerely,
Al & Chris Bickerton

I first met Bev at KGH in 1964 when we both embarked on our nursing career. We became friends, shared many activities , and lived together in 3rd year. She was a positive force in the class, always enthusiastic, caring, compassionate and a leader. Her hearty laugh, smiles and listening ear made a difference for many. My husband Fred and I had a wonderful visit with Bev and Don, --and Sharon last September at the cottage. Her spirit will live on through those she has touched . She will sure be missed.
