Obituary of Jean Louise Gordon

Gordon: Jean McKinnon

February 20, 1925 – January 14, 2022

Peacefully at Fox Run by the River, in her 96^th year. Beloved wife of the late Ken Gordon and devoted mother to Don (Judy), Neil (Debbie), Ross (Susie) and Jan (Paul). Predeceased by son Sandy. Jean was the cherished grandmother to George, Heather, Clayton. Lauren, Ian, Holly, Meghan, Luc and James. Great grandmother to seven. Survived by sister in law Betty (Tom). Jean raised her family at Cartwright Point in Kingston until 1976, when she moved to Gananoque after the family purchased a marina. Jean ran Gordon Marine with her family until 1986 when she retired due to a stroke. Jean’s retirement years were spent at “The Cottage” at Gananoque Lake tending to her gardens and walking her beloved German Shepherd Julie. Winters were spent on Treasure Lake in Bonita Springs, Florida. She was a twelve year resident of Fox Run where she was determined to maintain her independence until the end. We would like to express our gratitude to all the Fox Run family for their excellent care over the years and a VERY special “Thank You” to Penny Brewster.
