Dear Jan, Ross, Neil and Don and families,
Chris and I were saddened to learn of Jean's recent passing. She and your Dad had brought the family to Gan at a very opportune time in its growth. And we all were beneficiaries of having such nice people to work with and to handle our boating needs.
Then our sons got old enough to pump gas and they both worked there for several school years and beyond.
And when the fire hit and my family home was empty, having just had our Mom pass on, your folks moved into it during the rebuilding period.
Such permanent memories to share at such a challenging time and we hope you will find some solace in our fond recollections of a lady we shall all remember.

To the Gordon Family. So sorry to hear about Jean's passing. First met Jean at Gordon Marine in 1983 as a GSS co-op student. What a wonderful lady to work for. Learned so much from her, things that I still use today. RIP

Although I did not know Jean personally my life partner Ross Aylesworth spent many summer days at Gordon Marine painting graphics and names on boats. A day at Gordon Marine was always good day for many reasons and Ross had such respect for Jean and her excellent management of the business. He had the same respect for Neil, Sandy, Ross and Jan who were the team Ross dealt with.
There is no one like a Mother and no matter how long we have them it is never easy to let them go. Hold tight to your memories and each other.
