My sincere condolences, Penny and family. I was looking through some of my pictures and found this one taken in happier times. It was taken at an Intercon Christmas party. You two made a very lovely couple. Bill always seemed to have that big smile on his face. I think he really enjoyed life. Gone too soon.

Dear Penny Holly and Sarah - I just learned of Bill’s passing. I hope you find comfort in all the friends and family who enjoyed you both in great times. Although I didn’t know Bill well - he was a larger than life character who was a ton of fun and laughs whenever I was around him. Penny - the two of you seemed always so in sync and you were both so much fun and always so friendly and welcoming.

Wylard! My buddy and stand-in dad. I'll always remember walking into Stallangrad asking "How are ya" and his response was always "Better now!" My life is better for having you in it and I'll always have some of the funniest memories of our time together... He was the best kind of person. Very full of warmth. When you visited he made you feel like you had his attention but also this silly joy that you were there. Admiral Willard probably navigated us all into as many hazardous waters as he steered us out of. His passion for life and his likeness of all was infectious. He always had something interesting to share. For me, it was his family and Holly most of all.

I met Bill in 1986. We concluded a contract at the time for security monitoring equipment which is still in force though Intercon is long gone and I’ve been retired for over 5 years. We immediately took to one another, busting each other’s chops and going to lunches together. I loved renegotiating the contract every year just for the fun of the tit for tat squeezing on the final numbers. I remember going to his house for a very special birthday in February. Penny was always the best hostess. So, both my Bills are gone now since Bill Garland of BOMA preceded him. Bill was the best “closing salesman” that I ever met. I am sad to hear of his passing. So sorry to read of Bill's passing but thankful he is now comfortable again. I still remember well, one of my first meetings of Bill, was him in his tux serving us ladies lunch at our annual Chocoholic curling bonspiel. Naturally he was quite the hit with us ladies. Rest in peace Bill.
