Hello Mark, We were so shocked to hear about Marlene. Please accept our deepest condolences.
Can’t imagine how painful this is for you. Marlene is another person we add to our growing list of dear ones we look forward to seeing again soon in the Paradise.
I posted our picture because not sure if you remember us. Back in Malton days. We would like to relate the experience how we recall it back in 1986 and if you can please pass it along to Darlene. I am sure she has heard it many times.
The week before your birth Darlene, Marlene had a talk on the school and I was her householder. She said she wasn’t feeling well but would do her best. She was discouraged because she had been gaining weight even though trying hard to watch her calorie intake. She did an amazing job on her talk. A few days later, Sister Aimy Whittaker (our dear friend) called me very early one morning and asked “Are you sitting down.....Marlene had a baby”! To everyone’s surprise, you were born.
Darlene you are truly precious not only to your family but more so to Jehovah- the giver of life. May we never take that for granted and do all we can to show Jehovah how much we appreciate life and the wonderful future of seeing our dead loved ones again and living life the way he intended.
