Dear George. It is with a sense of deep personal loss of my childhood best friend, Julia Ann, that I send to you my prayers and deepest sympathy for your profound loss of your sister and best friend for your whole life. The memories of our early days on Wellington Street and all the fun we shared together are deeply treasured and bittersweet at this time. What I most appreciated was the fact that whatever time elapsed when we got together, we were able to pick up from where we left off until the next meeting. I hope that it is some consolation for you that, while she suffered so much these last few years, she is re-united with your mother and father and all the family that have gone before her. I know that your cousins, John, Anne and Deanie and your many, many friends will continue to support you into the future.

Sending sincere sympathy to George & cousins on the loss of Julie;she was a nursing colleague, .fellow alumnus from St. Joseph's School of Nursing,HDH In Julies retirement years loved playing Bridge with her & seeing her at Alumnae events.
I've been missing her from a Bridge table scenario & will continue to do so.Julie has left us far too soon .May she rest in peace.
A Nursing Honour guard would have been an expected tribute ,but with Covid it's just not possible,unfortunately.

We had many good times taking turns at one another houses to play bridge. George sometimes joined us and it was always a good time. I miss the good old days. We took so much for granite before covid. So sorry for your loss.
