Obituary of Timothy Carr

Carr: Timothy Tim served proudly in the Canadian Armed Forces Army Signals from 1986 - 2002 with several peace keeping missions overseas. Tim passed away surrounded with family and friends at the Kingston General Hospital from complications due to liver disease and a long battle with post traumatic stress disorder. Tim is survived by his wife of 23 years Kelly Casselman-Carr; daughters Samantha K. Porter and Victoria M Carr and Grandchildren Kaylee H. Porter and Seth A.R. Porter all of Gananoque, Ontario. He is survived as well by his mother Theresa Carr-Collier of Victoria B.C., his sister Cindy L. Swain of Victoria B.C., his brother Thomas A. Engel of Sask; nieces Katelyn E. Swain of Winsor NS and Brookelynn Swain of Victoria BC and nephew Christopher R.A.T.J. Swain of Victoria BC. The Carr family wishes to thank all of our friends and families for their love and support over this time. We also wish to thank the men and women of militaryminds.ca for their outstanding support of Tim. A heartfelt thank you goes to the doctors, staff and volunteers of the Kingston General Hospital and Connell 10. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
