You and i have been at issures for over 45 years. I do remember the year you gave mom and dad such a hard time for going to school. and then i told them i was quiting school to work full time. Then to top it off dad told you to get to school or join the military. It was one of the best idea you did hon.you went over a child and came back a man. then you made a decision you were going to marry kelly cause you had fall in love with her and her little blond hair little girl. who never worried about you being her daddy. you were hard on them sometime i felt but over all you were their dad and you knew better then i did . but really we both did not know as much as mom and dad . then i had the children who i wanted you to be their god father with tom and kelly being their god mother. you had so many demonds once you came back and the distance came between us .i miss my brother. then you came home when dad passed away to clean house and then i knew you were still my brother. my hero. and when i had my melt down you told me to hit you to fight with you to yell at you and now i cannot do that any more. i want to know why you . why not the really bad people out there you had girls that were just coming back to you you have grand children who needed to see you grow like santa. and now. i know you are with daddy but i still cannot believe the two of you are gone. i got to hold all this together but really i do not know how much more. i just want my family back my whole family. and for some reason i have to wait till we all meet again i do not want to i dam well want you two back .i miss my brother my timmy i miss you calling me cin. i just would love to of been there but i cannot do this dying and people gathering and doing all this crying it to hard i greaving my way so what out i getting a chocolate cake and chocolate and watch my crimmal mind or law and order . i miss you tim xo

There is allot to say for my big brother but the one side of him that no one ever saw was the part where he was my protector. i will always remember the day back in Shannon park (Dartmouth N.S.) in the late 70's I was coming home after school and 4 older kids were throwing rocks and cans at me when all of a sudden from across the street there was Tim, the first person who broke my nose and who would torment me every night till he joined the army, race across the street with rage on his face and the next thing i remember him standing over the 4 of them yelling no one lays a hand on my baby brother but me... we might not have been wally and the beaver but he will always be my big brother and like when our dad passed away there will always be a peace missing.

A week before he passed he looked at me and told me not to morn not to remember him in pain, but to go on with my life, and told me I was beautiful and the best thing that had ever come into his life, and he was asked by both of the boy friends if they had permission from him for to marry; which he gave. I will never marry again; I will never have another love, again. He was my heart and soul. He would be extremely angry if all of us stopped living, even for a little bit because of him. He was who and what he was, some hated him, lots of us loved him. He'll never be forgotten, and he'll be forever loved.

I told Sam and Tory (Tim & Kelly's daughters) this story the night Tim passed. Tim and I go back almost 30 years...
When Tim first got out of the military, he was doing odd jobs like working at Home Depot with his brother Tom delivering stuff to people and eventually driving tractor trailer.
I was living with my sister after getting out of a long relationship. I would pop over to Tim & Kelly's and hang out or play computer games when Tim was on a run and Kelly was home (Tim ALWAYS had very cool games...LOVED LONG BOW!!). Tim had just come home from a run and he parked the truck not far from where they lived on Montreal St. in Kingston. I came up around the side of the truck and there was that big dope standing there with that dopy grin on his face! If you knew Tim well, you know the grin I mean!
I said "Hey, how was your run?" He looks at me and sings "I know something you don't know..."! So I shoot him the "What in the Bluest of blue hells are you babbling about?" He sings "Somebody likes you!!!". It seems that his nextdoor neighbour, who seemed to be about 10 minutes behind when I would show up, was sweet on me and I was a little dence to it!
So next he proceeds to tell me GRAPHICLY what she wants to do to me which starts me uncontollably laughing as thats all I could do. And in true Tim fashion, he says "Well....that's not what I expceted"!
So, we walk back over to the house and I had stopped laughing. The lady we were speaking of, was sitting on her porch and we started to talk. Tim walks in the house and Kelly yells out "NEIL....GET IN HERE...I GOTTA TELL YA SUMTHIN'"!!!
Yep....what a pair!!
We're gonna miss ya you big dope!!

Angels In The Stars
By: Sara Manis
God saw I was getting tired
as he put his arms around me
as he whispered come with me
There is a place for you in heaven
where there is no suffering and no pain
all you have to do is look up to the sky
and know that you will see me
As I am an angel in the stars
what a great place to be
I am an angel of God and a
sparkle I shall be
Know that I'm watching over you
just look up and see
I'm looking watching over you
please don't be sad for me
I'm your angel in the stars
where I am happy now
you will see and one day
you will be with me.

I met Tim at the Toronto airport, since we were all wearing those stupid recruit stickers we located each other rather quickly. There were 7 or 8 of us that flew to Halifax together. Once there we were informed that we had to wait 5 or 6 hours for the flights to come in from out west...needless to say we all ended up at the airport bar and proceeded to get stinking drunk. After a long bus ride to Cornwallis our military service began. Tim was always happy and kind. He was always friendly and would help anyone at anytime if he could. Cheers to you my drinking buddy from Sept. 8, 1988. Rest in Peace.
