With the untimely and unexpected passing of Wayne, social and physical distancing has brought to the forefront a far more meaningful understanding of what this all means today. Wayne had a great sense of humor and was constantly supported by his family. Not to be forgotten was his beautiful smile, pensive eyes and, as I would frequently say to him, he had a baby face, far younger looking than his years. Becki, I have such fond memories of so much time spent on your seemingly huge front porch on First St. He was such a kind, gentle man. I was shy and a bit reserved around most adults but I remember always feeling unreserved and happy around him. Maybe it was his smile or perhaps his overall gentle demeanour.
