Peacefully at home on Wednesday June 26, 2019 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Carol Kidd and the late Phyllis Davis (nee Bishop). Much loved father of Dianne Kemp (Murray), Roddy, Cindy Abeles (David), Lisa, Brenda and Jamie (Tammy Cassell). Cherished grandfather of Stephanie (Patti Veley), Kellie (Jonathon Bark), Brooke, Jason, Kathleen, Molly, Matthew, Elissa (Andrew Smith), Andy, Sara, Dustin (Channell Mahonney) and Sumer. Great grandfather of Tristan, Samantha, Emily, Jorja, Aaron, Brock, Brenley, Tyson, Trina, Tanner, Taydem and Sonny. Will be fondly remembered by step children Terry Kidd (Vicki), Karen McClelland (Jamie) and Tracey Dyks (Derek). Step grandfather of Amie, Connor, William, Daniel, Isaac, Aaron and Caleb. Dear brother of Ted Davis and Joanne Donald. Predeceased by 2 brothers Ronald and Paul Davis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Friday July 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will be held from the Pinegrove Free Methodist Church on Saturday July 6 at 11:00 am. Interment St. John’s cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the to the Kidney Foundation or to Pinegrove Church would be appreciated by the family.
