Dear Carol and family:
Jean and I were shocked to learn of Rogers passing. As will be recited many times, Roger was a wonderful man who was very well liked, and enjoyed in many activities. As you well know, Roger enjoyed sports especially golf, which was highlighted by a home made trophy presentation. We spent more time establishing the rules and strokes for this annual contest which was every bit as enjoyable as the contest its self.
Life at the cottages would not have been possible without Rogers assistance to keep both plumbing and water flowing.
We had many fun times on both land and water and retained these gifts forever! Our heart felt condolences on your loss of this very fine man. He will never be forgotten!

Dearest Davis families, So sorry to hear about the passing of Roger, our friend and close neighbor. I only have fond memories of when the family lived on Hickory Street. I spent lots of good times there with Roddy, at the time. I loved sitting at their dinner table with the 6 kids! Being an only child, I seemed to love the rucus and commotion always going on at the table and in the house. Phyllis and Roger were always so welcoming and kind to me.
A short story that I remember...when I burned my leg badly getting off of a motorcycle uptown to meet Roddy. He took me to his home where Roger and Phyllis fussed over me, cleaned up my wound and there was lots of hugs.
When I had my Daycare, I would pass by Roger's home with a wagon full of babies. I would say, "Say hi to Mr. Roger" and he would come over and talk to the kids and put a big smile on their faces!
Keep all the beautiful memories in your heart and always remember the fun times! Thinking of all of you "six's and Carol.
