Sorry to hear of your father's passing. I visited him a bit at Carveth when I was with my Dad. He had some good stories of the past and his room was set up so nice to enjoy his things. I hope you take comfort that you did what you could for him, he's at peace now.
Truly a favourite uncle. Used to take us water skiing and riding around Gananoque Lake in his boat. Great fun to be with. As a young guy who loved being around heavy equipment I idolized Uncle Ted and what he did for a living.
The high point for summer vacations for me was to go to work with Ted or my Grandfather and ride in all the equipment all day long.
Many fond memories and I will always have a special spot for him in my heart.
