Peacefully at Fairmount home on Wednesday September 19, 2018.  Carl Vallas in his 94th year beloved husband of the late Barbara Webster.  Loving father of Leslie Wlotzka (Mike)  Predeceased by 1 daughter Jody Barton. Dearest Grandfather of Joel & Jesse Hunt  &  Gregory, Geoffrey and Marrissa Wlotzka.  Dear brother of Ruth Desjardins (Mark).  Brother in law of Shirley & Walter Pothier and Mary Kirkland.  Predeceased by 3 brothers Earl, Thornley and Victor and 1 sister June Bodaly.  Also survived by several nieces & nephews.  The family will receive friends at the G.F.Tompkins Funeral Home 435 Davis Dr. (Centennial at Taylor-Kidd) on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service at 1pm in the chapel.  Interment Cataraqui cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the New |Leaf Link Program PO Box 9 Hartington, On K0H 1W0 (www.newleaflink.ca) would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences please go to www.tompkinsfuneralhome.ca
