Passed peacefully on Thursday May 17, 2018 after a brief illness. Howard will be forever cherished as beloved husband of 52 years by Emily (Herman) Bell. Loving father of Whitney Kilgore (James) and Trever Bell. Dearest Grandfather of Lindsey and Connor Kilgore. Dear brother of Alvin Bell (Jackie) and predeceased by his parents Leonard and Beulah (Gray) Bell and  sister Audrey Gilbert. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden St. Gananoque on Friday May 25th from 6-9 pm. A Memorial service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday May 26 at 12 noon. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the Gananoque Inn  immediately following the service.   Memorial donations can be made to the Rotary Club of Gananoque and would be appreciated by the family in lieu of flowers.
