It is with heartfelt sadness that I read about the passing of Howard
I remember those good ole Rotary days when we would volunteer our time to all the fund raisers and our weekly meetings
Howard helped tremendously when I was president of the rotary club of gananoque
My sincere sympathies to Emily and family
May he Rest In Peace

Emily ~ So very, very sorry to hear of your loss. My memories of Howard are that he was very much a gentleman and also a gentle man. While he gave much to the community that he so obviously loved it was easy to see that you were his single biggest love, and that everything else took a backseat to your presence. I send you thoughts of peace, and hope you are able to find strength and comfort in the love of your family and friends. K

My love and heart-felt sadness Emily, Whitney and Trevor. So many memorable times of Howard and the countless times he was there- always ready to help with just about anything you can name, for friends and through his years of loyal service in Rotary. I will always remember you and Howard tearing out our old kitchen and stairwell, loud and bashing things out – of course you with your sledge hammer! Howard’s right hand no matter the project. But unseen by some as gentle and quiet enough to take me through swamp and marsh looking for specimens of ferns for the garden. His loyalty and devotion to the life you two shared and enjoyed for over 50 years will be cherished forever, and so many of us will remember him with a quiet smile and share a humourous moment. Blessings and may your wonderful memories be your strength right now.

Emily, Whitney and Trever:
Flora and I were deeply saddened when we learned of Howard's illness and passing.
Death has taken his physical being from you but it can never take away the memories of all the special times you were able to share during his life. There is never an easy time to say goodbye to a family member of friend. Find comfort and strength in knowing that Howard is at peace in eternal sleep. A quiet and gentle man is gone but he will never be forgotten.
You are in our prayers.
