Paula, I just learned of Larry's passing this evening while scanning the ckso.com site. Please accept my sincere condolences. Larry hired me for my first job out of university and I learned an enormous amount working for him for 5 years at CKSO. I always enjoyed our meetings after that. I have many fond memories of my time working with Larry. Best wishes to you and your family.

Dear Paula,
We have been out of touch for many years, but the news of Larry's passing saddened us deeply. Larry was a terrific boss and mentor, and I highly valued his support and friendship. Both of you were kind and generous to Donna and me and we fondly remember the times we spent together. May you find strength in the love and support of your family and friends, and may Larry rest in peace.

I am very sad to learn of Larry's passing. My sincere condolences to Paula and family. Larry was a boss who then became a friend. Our careers went in different directions but we always had a few laughs whenever we chatted over the phone about business (Closed Captioning). I will never forget when he came to Edmonton and took me to the Grey Cup game. What a kind gesture.
RIP Larry. A GREAT GUY who will be missed and fondly remembered.

I am very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. When I first started my television series, Larry did the closed-captioning. Larry was very helpful in my formative years of broadcasting and I shall always remember his sage advice. Very nice man, he will be missed.

It was with sadness that I learned of Larry’s passing. I worked for Larry at CTV Sudbury for many years and learned much about broadcasting from him. I was also privileged to know him outside of work as an avid CFL fan and Grey Cup Party host. Rest In Peace.
