Passed away peacefully at FoxRun by the River Retirement Home on Thursday June 22, 2017. Elin Phillips (nee Peterson), beloved wife of the late Oliver (Sonny) Phillips. Much loved mother of Larry (Gerry), Louis, Chris (Donna), Donny (Janice), Philip (Lynn), Lorelei Moorhead (Eric), Connie, Robert (Lisa), Joe (Helen) and Peter (Melissa). Predeceased by 2 daughters Janeen Gauthier and Sylvia Thomas and by son in law Wayne Fletcher. Cherished grandmother of Cindy, Dwayne, Laurie, Donna, Doug, Lou, Lance, Tanya, Billy, Leanne, Jennifer, Niki, Erin Elin, Jasmine, Austin, Katie, Mark, Tyson, Erica, Phil, Sadie, Jack, Lina, Sara, Riley and Presley. Predeceased by 1 granddaughter Carrie. Great grandmother of Hanna, Tristin, Clara, Olivia, Gracie, Ryder, Chase, Ava, Ashton, Cyrus, Jackson, Tiffany, Kefir, Maeve, Micah, Lola-Ann, Hailey, Cooper, Grant, Lucas, Matthew, Benjamin, Kayden, Oliver, Danny, Rosalyn, Isabella, Aubrey, Georgia, Sonny and Nova. Dear sister of Molly (Doug) Hanna of Manitoba. Predeceased by siblings Kris, Donny, Fred, Baldwin, Alex, Harry, Bara, Elias and Irene.  Sadly missed by sons in law James (Hector) Thomas and Robert Gauthier. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from our chapel on Monday June 26 at 11:00 am. Interment Willowbank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
