Thomas: Sylvia (nee Fletcher – Phillips) (Former Mayor of Gananoque) Peacefully at home on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of James (Hector) Thomas. Lovingly remembered by her mother Elin Phillips and the late Oliver (Sonny). Loving mother of Cindy Wrong (David) and Dwayne (Sheryl). Cherished grandmother of Hanna and Tristan. Dear sister of Larry (Gerry), Louis, Chris (Donna), Donny (Janice), Philip (Lynn), Lorelei Moorhead (Eric), Connie, Robert (Lisa), Joe (Helen) and Peter (Melissa). Predeceased by 1 sister Janeen Gauthier (Bob). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Saturday March 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Sylvia’s Life will be held at the Glen House Resort, 409 Thousand Islands Parkway Lansdowne on Sunday March 19 from 2:30 – 5:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Cross Cemetery or to the Kingston General Hospital Child life Services would be appreciated by the family.
