Dear Leggo family, While I'd only spoken with your Father a few times a long time ago (Dan and I used to run amok when we were teens) I remember a kind and caring man. At this most difficult of times, I wish to extend warm smiles, and fond memories of happy times.

Carol, Jayne, Jeff, Jill & Dan. Having been a neighbour and friend of yours for over three decades we have always considered you as our extended family so it is with great sadness we mourn the death of George. We will miss him greatly. George's kindness and thoughtfullness has touched our lives and we always appreciated the little nudge he gave his children to come over and look after John for us. May loving memories bring you strength, comfort and peace. Jane and Henry

Growing up next door to the Leggos, I have known George literally my entire 33 years and am deeply saddened by his recent passing. I have many fond memories of George, who was willing to stop and chat no matter what age I was. George and Carol always welcomed me into their home and extended this hospitality to my own relatively new family. This was very evident with our toddler Mason, who developed quite a liking to George (we think the feeling was mutual, despite some initial resistance). Our condolences go out to Carol and the extended Leggo family. We will miss George.
Both of us worked with George at the offices of Morden & Helwig prior to George and Carol retiring to their wonderful place on the River. George was a very good friend and we will miss him. Dave has a lot of great personal memories of George, golfing, etc. Our condolences to Carol, Jane, Jill, Jeff and Dan and their families in this time of great sorrow. George, you will be missed.
