Dear Sally: Just heard of Bob's passing and wanted to send along my condolences. Bob and I spent many memorable times together at Customs and of course driving around in the "tank", without brakes of course! Bob was a great guy, super sense of humour and would do anything for you. I will miss him. Take care of yourself. Best wishes, John

Dear Sally: It was with great sadness that we learned of the recent and untimely death of our friend Bob. Although we lost contact after you both left Ottawa and we moved to Nova Scotia in 1996, Bob will always be remembered as fun loving friend. Although I did not know Bob for very long, he was the type of fellow whom you felt you knew forever. We are deeply sadened that this wonderful person was taken from us. I know Peter will be waiting at the gate to welcome Bob who will - no doubt - have a joke to tell Pete and a story as to why he deserves to be there. Please take care of yourself Sally. With sincere condolenses, Joe and Joy MacPherson, Shad Bay, Nova Scotia.

Hi Sally, My mom just phoned me and told me she read about Bob's sudden passing in the paper. I am so sorry to hear of Bob's battle with Cancer and passing. Bob always made me laugh and his teasing was something that I always looked forward to everytime I walked out the front door. He never missed a beat and was always able to capitalize on one of my awkward teenage moments. He will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Jody Smith
