Dear Gert and family, Memories of those days in the Mining Building, your wedding, and your hospitality those weekend afternoons in 1947 when Cyril was working in Kingston all come flooding back, along with the Ford strike, teaching, our reunion dinners. Can so many years really have passed? The mirror provides the answer, but I can still remember exactly how Ed looked when we were all in the labs and lectures together. I still remember Bill's toast at the wedding. We're sorry Ed's gone. Nothing can make up for his absence, but we hope you will have many memories to cherish, as well as your boys and their families. All the best. Cyril & Marion
