Cathy,Tom, Chris and families I am very sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Our mom's spent many a day together, years ago, visiting over their coffees. In recent years Shirley always had time for a chat whenever I ran into her. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. Your mom was very sweet to our boys when she moved into her apartment on Pine St. I have many memories of your mom growing up when tagging along on my brother Eric's tail.

Chris and Family: I am really sorry about the passing of your Mom. I got to know her while my parents were in Carveth. She kept an eye on my Dad and went to see my Mom to help her adjust to living at Carveth and the death of my Dad.My Mom and Shirley got to be friends and they both got really sick around the same time and both passed away only days apart. I will miss my little talks with Shirley. My only regret is that I promised her I would come back and see her and didnt get the chance. Again I am really sorry. Karen Clark and Robert McCully

To Chris & his family, My deepest sympathies to you & your family. I only got to know Shirley for a very short time, but during that time it was to see a friendly smile every time I entered carveth. I would like to express my gratitude towards her for keeping a watchful eye when my grandfather (Russell Clark) was across the hall from her. And still checking up on the family when my grandma (Beatrice Clark) was in. May the lord watch over her now.

Hi Cathy,Tom and Chris Just wanted to say how sorry I was to read about your Mom in the newspaper.I remember the good times we had at the horse shows, years ago. I spoke to your mom several times after Ron died and we talked alot about those days. Jeff had alerted me days ago about your mom going into the hospital, but I didn't know she was that ill. Please know our prayers are with you all. Take care. Maureen, Jeff and Susan Silver

Dear Cathy, Tom, Chris & Families Shirley's Homestead will always be remembered by many in the neighborhood. We were fortunate enough to move into this area a few years ago and meet Francis and Shirley and their family. I am sure that you all have many fond memories of being in the store with your mother and visiting with all the neighbors. Not everyone has that opportunity while growing up. We are very sorry to hear of your loss.
