We want to give our sincere condolences in the loss of your Uncle Russ. I have many memories about Aunt Clara and Uncle Russ as we were taught to call them. Of course, they were close to my Mom and Dad and spent a lot of time with them as well as with Aunt Pansy and Uncle Fred. The one true thing about life is that at some time we leave this world to go on in another sphere where we know our loved ones are and they love us still. Perhaps we will see some of the Heasler kids this summer. We would love to see you. Take care of yourselves and each other. With Love, Kathryn and Henry

To Dora, Earl, Marilyn and Russell's family: We have fond memories of Russell and his close relationship with Mom (Irene Kirkby). He was a special man. He visited us here in Fonthill (Niagara Region) several summers ago and enjoyed picking blueberries and his adventures on and off the air mattress in our pool. Russell and Mom drove to Myrtle Beach 10 1/2 years ago together and met us down there. He was kind, friendly and very personable and we thought of him as close family. To All the Heaslers, My condolances on the loss of your dear Uncle! He was a great friend to my parents over the years(Ellen and Tom Power)as well as to we Power kids. You may not know the story, but about the time of my birth, or shortly thereafter my Mother was very ill--Russ and Clara spoke for me and were willing to adopt me!! I will treasure that memory of both of them. Had I known yesterday, I would be there for the funeral--but now cannot make it. Blessings to all. Love, Joan (Power) Knighton, Hamilton Ontario
