Jack was my neighbour. I remember growing up when I would go down past his cottage to catch frogs. He took me flying once and I would always watch him take off in his plane on Gananoque Lake. I got to see him build that beautiful house. It wasn't until recently that I really got to know Jack though. He was always there to lend a helping hand. He loved the outdoors. He was a great poker player. You will be missed Jack.

A smile comes on my face when ever I think about my times flying with Jack. We had a lot of fun cruising the skies in FNEL! Jack inspired me to get my pilot's license. Jack once told me he had a wish. He said " If I find out I'm going to die, I'm gonna get in my plane and fly under the thousand island bridge ". I said " If you do that Jack, take me with you!".
